Probation is invoked when a student has a serious problem. Its purpose is to give the student time and assistance in solving his problem. If the student corrects his problem during the time of probation, the probation will be lifted upon completion of the time given. If the student does not improve to a satisfactory level during the time of probation, he will be asked to withdraw from the school.
Reasons for Probation:
- Academic
- Insufficient academic progress
- Failure of parents to get recommended professional
help for the student's needs.
- Attitude
- A rebellious spirit which is unchanged by the student after much effort by the teachers.
- A continued negative attitude and bad influence upon the
other students.
- Disciplinary
- Continued deliberate disobedience
- Committing a serious breach of conduct inside or outside of school. This has an adverse effect upon the school's testimony.
- Failure of the parents to comply with the disciplinary
procedures of the school.
