PTF Volunteer Projects

Below is a list of needs that have been identified by parents and staff as projects for family/group volunteers. If you are interested in one of these projects, please contact Jeanie Hetrick to make arrangements.  Family work days are scheduled for the 2nd Saturday of every month except March as shown on the school calendar. 

For all projects, contact Jeanie Hetrick at 989-5378 unless otherwise noted.

• BUILDINGS
  • Refinish/repair bricks in front of  school where they were cut during the remodel
  • Paint doors in cafeteria area
  • Curtains for windows in cafeteria
  • Install wood trim around food service window in cafeteria
  • Re-paint red doors in cafeteria (pick one or more)
    
    
• CLASSROOMS
  • Clean desks & chairs; see or call Carrie Dalton (GFA office # 459-6346 or 459-9552)
  • Help in Miscellaneous classrooms; there are multiple times and teachers
  • Put up wallpaper border in Mr. Haskett's room
    
    
• MISCELLANEOUS
  • Trash pickup around school grounds
  • Locate top cap for concrete blocks laid around elementary planters
  • Re-paint and touch-up paint on playground equipment

Please search your hearts and your calendars and see if you can help us shorten this list and improve our school.

If you are interested in contributing to or completing any of the projects listed, please contact Jeanie Hetrick (989-5378). To submit your name for projects, print the Volunteer Information Form and fill it out. Completed forms should be put in the PTF Box in school office. You will be contacted when help is needed. Please keep in mind that this list is not all inclusive and if you have suggestions for other areas you could help, please contact the school office.

When you perform volunteer work for the school, fill out a Volunteer Service Form and put it in the PTF box in the school office.  Your hours will be tallied and the bookkeeper will be notified when you have served 28 hours. 

To suggest projects to be completed by the PTF, print the PTF Volunteer Projects Form and fill it out. Completed forms should be put in the PTF Box in the school office.
