First Week 2007
August 27-30

Monday, August 27 10:00 a.m. Students arrive at GFA to load buses
  11:00 a.m. Buses leave GFA for McCall. All students are required to ride school transportation.
  2:00 p.m. Buses arrive at Quaker Hill
     
Thursday, August 30 9:00 a.m. Buses leave McCall for GFA
  12:30 p.m.**

** Please note: Arrival time at GFA on 8/30 is approximate.

ATTENTION:  Students will need a sack lunch for the bus ride to McCallon Monday.

NOTE:  Students must turn in a signed permission slip to the office before they will be allowed to go to First Week. Permission slips will be available at registration or pick one up in the office.  Phone call permission will NOT be accepted.

Sleeping bag
Pillow
Toiletry items
Towel
Props for skits
Bug spray
Sunscreen
Notebook & Pen

Banquet clothes
Activity clothes (that you don't mind getting dirty)
Plastic bag for dity clothes
Shoes to run in
Hiking shoes
Swim suit (One-Piece ONLY for girls)
Jacket
Bible

 

Please limit yourself to one suitcase.  Be sure your suitcase and sleeping bag are identified with your name.

Seniors bring money for the senior bonfire and breakfast on Thursday morning.

NO radios, CD players, iPods, video games or any other electronic devices will be allowed!

RULES FOR A SMOOTH FIRST WEEK

  1. Stay on campus (camp and lake front). 
    1. Do not leave camp unless you are with a sponsored group.
    2. No driving.
    3. Do not leave Thursday morning until you check in with Mr. Sheldon

  2. General cleanliness in dorm rooms and in camp, meeting areas, and Osprey is expected.
    1. We clean everything before we leave.

  3. Respect other's property.

  4. Bathrooms - be care with electricity around wet areas.

  5. Meeting place before meals is in the Osprey lobby.

  6. The Hands-Off rule applies during First Week.

  7. Dress modestly.
